Course Description

Classes are taught by a native speaker of Japanese. Students of all backgrounds, study styles, and experience are welcome. We use English as a scaffolding language, so if you speak English this would be an asset for you. All parts of language are taught including reading, writing, speaking, listening. Grammar and vocabulary are also taught both explicitly and implicitly. Every class is of a mixed level and the times and days are flexible to accommodate both the regular as well as the intermittent learner. You can start and stop at any time. We use a student-centered approach wherein learners nominate topics and language that they are interested in learning. We believe this is the best approach for such a diverse group of learners in Japan.
